Job Summary
We are seeking a versatile Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience managing IT projects or projects in other business areas, using predictive, iterative, or hybrid methodologies. Familiarity with project management software/tools is strongly preferred. While relevant PM certifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and specialisation over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalise IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Provide project status reports to stakeholders.
- Support workshops in the Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management (PPPM) area.
- Assist clients in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Successfully perform programme or project changes without disrupting business operations.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Develop comprehensive project plans and associated communications documents.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Skills and Competencies
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (predictive, iterative, hybrid).
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Adaptability and willingness to take on various roles within the PPPM area.
- Valid PM certifications are advantageous, though not mandatory.
- Previous consulting experience is advantageous, though not mandatory.
