Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior PMO Analyst or Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a PMO analyst role or in managing/supporting IT projects or projects in other business areas, using predictive, iterative, or hybrid methodologies. Familiarity with project management software/tools are deeply preferred. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and specialisation over time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, executing, and finalising IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Support the coordination of efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.
- Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Provide project status reports to stakeholders.
- Support workshops in the Project, Programme, and Portfolio Management (PPPM) area.
- Assist clients in identifying risks, issues, and opportunities.
- Support programme or project changes without disrupting business operations.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Assist in developing comprehensive project plans and associated communications documents.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Skills and Competencies
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies (predictive, iterative, hybrid).
- Some experience in managing or supporting projects.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Solid organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
- Adaptability and willingness to take on various roles within the PPPM area.
- PM certification is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- Previous consulting experience is advantageous, but not mandatory.
