PMO Lead
Location: Hybrid (Worthing – 2 days per week)
Are you a critical thinker with proven experience setting up a PMO? Do you thrive in a hands-on role where you can shape and improve programme delivery?
On behalf of a well known company, we’re looking for a PMO Lead to support the implementation of a new work management system. You’ll play a key role in establishing programme controls, tracking milestones, managing risks, and driving continuous improvement across delivery workstreams. This isn’t just an oversight role—you’ll be in the thick of it, ensuring that standards are met, data is accurate, and key stakeholders are aligned.
Responsibilities:
✅ Set up and maintain programme governance, risks, issues, and dependencies
✅ Ensure accurate reporting and act as the go-to for project data
✅ Work closely with Programme Managers, Change Managers, IT PMO, and Finance
✅ Lead continuous improvement efforts, capturing lessons learned
✅ Facilitate workstream meetings and approvals
Requirements:
🔹 Hands-on experience in establishing and running a PMO.
🔹 Strong programme and project management skills (Prince2, MSP, Agile preferred).
🔹 Ability to analyse programme performance and recommend improvements.
🔹 A proactive, adaptable approach – willing to roll up your sleeves!
