Job Description
- Role Overview:
- Lead the development of a data and analytics platform, transitioning data from in-house mainframe systems to the Azure cloud.
- Utilize MS Fabric as the technology stack for data management within the Azure ecosystem.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end technical programme management of data project.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
- Required Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience in data management and analytics.
- Proven experience in leading data projects and technical programme management.
- Experience in working on Agile and delivering projects successfully on Agile methodology
- Knowledge of MS Fabric and its application within the Azure ecosystem will be an advantage
- Demonstrated experience of working in an end-to-end data platform from ingestion to reporting
- Knowledge of ETL, ADO, CI/CD, Data Pipelines, Data Factory
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in project management (e.g., SCM, PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience with other data management tools and technologies
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in data and analytics.
