Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Computing Teacher to join our dedicated team. As a Computing Teacher, you will inspire and engage our primary school students with the exciting world of computing, coding, and digital literacy. Your innovative teaching methods and enthusiasm for technology will help our students develop essential 21st-century skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging computing lessons tailored to primary school students.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Utilize a variety of teaching tools and resources, including coding platforms, robotics kits, and educational software.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate computing across the curriculum and support cross-disciplinary projects.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Stay current with advancements in educational technology and incorporate new ideas into your teaching practice.
- Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification in primary education.
- Experience teaching computing or ICT to primary school students.
- Strong knowledge of coding languages, educational software, and digital tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
