Job title: Head of Supply Chain

Overview
We are launching a top secret new product and brand, and the time has come to build out the team and ensure critical players are in place. We are therefore searching for a talented Head of Supply Chain to ensure our company’s supply chain is timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will lead all Supply Chain duties including demand and supply planning, procurement and warehouse management. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly-analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. The successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting models.
Responsibilities:
- Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand
- patterns;
- Develop a supply plan for the external partners;
- Lead the S&OP process;
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities;
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management;
- Manage the key day to day activities of the suppliers;
- Implementing process improvements to address inefficiencies in production,
- scheduling and planning procedures;
- Ensure that product is planned to be moved between sites effectively to meet
- demand in the most cost effective way;
- Take ownership of any planning issues that arise and liaise with relevant
- stakeholders to resolve.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or other relevant fields;
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Supply Chain in Beauty or FMCG will be
- a must;
- Expertise in Production Planning, Material Scheduling, Inventory Planning and
- S&OP and warehousing;
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Capability to multitask in a fast paced environment
