Senior Site Project Engineer

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum

Location: Kendal (on site)

Working Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00 pm

The role:

As a Projects Engineer, you will play a key role in planning and delivering engineering projects that drive operational excellence across our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. You'll bring your technical know-how and project management experience to deliver innovative and sustainable solutions that support our continuous improvement strategy.

This is a full-time role based at our headquarters in Kendal.

What you’ll be doing:

Plan and implement assigned engineering projects, from concept to completion.
Define project scopes and objectives in alignment with business goals.
Develop and maintain detailed project timelines and resource schedules.
Ensure quality assurance and safety compliance (including RAMS and PPE standards).
Manage all project documentation and administrative tasks.
Track budgets and report performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
Build strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring product legality, quality, and authenticity.

What you will need:

min 2+ years' experience in project management and engineering roles, preferably within manufacturing.
Proven ability to coordinate stakeholders and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong planning, evaluation, and reporting skills.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all business levels.
Familiarity with safety procedures, quality control, and engineering best practices.
