Job Summary

A project coordinator is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a project, ensuring tasks are completed on time, within budget, managing schedules, tracking progress, and communicating updates to stakeholders, working closely with the project manager to achieve project goals.

Key responsibilities of a project coordinator:

· Project planning and scheduling:

Creating and maintaining project timelines and monitoring progress against the schedule.

· Communication management:

Facilitating communication between project team members, stakeholders, clients and project manager, including regular status updates and meeting minutes.

· Budget monitoring:

Tracking project expenses against the budget and alerting the project manager of any variances.

· Risk management:

Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies with project Manager

· Documentation:

Maintaining project documentation including project plans, and reports. Ensuring all images are approved to the highest of standards by either getting sign of from the client or ensuring they are matching the planogram been provided by the client

· Administrative support:

Handling administrative tasks related to the projects including making store bookings where necessary for projects.

Ensuring that the transport side of the business is always kept on top of and assisting where necessary.

Flexibility to support the company in other areas which may be required to suit the business’s needs.

Required skills for a project coordinator:

· Strong organisational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

· Excellent communication skills: Clear and concise communication with all stakeholders

· Attention to detail: Ability to identify and address errors in project plans and deliverables

· Problem-solving skills: Resolving issues that may arise during project execution

· Proficiency in project management tools: Familiarity with project managing software.

· Teamwork and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
