Job Summary: The IT Director will oversee and manage the IT department, ensuring that our technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and aligned with our business goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the corporate world.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's objectives and support business growth.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Project Management: Oversee IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Cybersecurity: Ensure the security of the company's data and IT systems by staying up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats and solutions.
Budget Management: Manage the IT department's budget, making cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.
Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring the best value for the company.
Technology Evaluation: Monitor and analyze technology trends, recommending and implementing new technologies that improve business processes.
Policy Development: Establish and enforce IT policies and best practices across the organization.
Infrastructure Management: Ensure the consistent and efficient operation of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5+ years in a corporate environment.
Technical Skills: Strong technical background with hands-on experience in various operating systems, databases, and IT infrastructure.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Project Management: Experience in managing large-scale IT projects from inception to completion.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and in-office work effectively.
