Role overview:
The role will take a holistic view to PMO within a leading Aerospace Robotics function. It will include scoping definition, scheduling, deliverables and milestones tracking, sub-contracting mission cards generation, workshops organization for technical development, communication to internal customer, external suppliers, transmittal management and deliverables documentation.
Key responsibilities:
Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the robotics project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology strategy.
- Prioritize projects based on ROI, risk, and strategic value.
- Governance & Standards.
Project Oversight:
- Monitor project performance, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Support project managers with risk mitigation, escalation processes, and stakeholder communication.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Provide executive-level dashboards and reports on robotics program health.
- Analyse trends and recommend improvements in delivery and resource utilization.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior leadership.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Drive lessons learned and post-project reviews to improve future robotics initiatives.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Project Management, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PMO or project/program management, preferably in robotics or automation.
- Strong understanding of robotics technologies, systems integration, and industrial automation.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet).
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills
