The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record delivering laboratory, cleanroom, or technical workspace fit-outs. You’ll oversee multiple projects from tender to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to strict quality and compliance standards.
This is a key client-facing role requiring technical expertise, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle from design development to completion and handover
- Oversee site works including M&E, HVAC, finishes, furniture, and compliance installations
- Liaise closely with clients, designers, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met
- Monitor project progress, costs, and resource allocation, reporting regularly to senior management
- Manage risk, H&S compliance, and documentation throughout each stage
- Ensure CDM Regulations and ISO standards (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 14001) are adhered to
- Coordinate commissioning, validation, and quality assurance for technical spaces
- Support estimating and tendering processes with technical and cost input
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience delivering lab, cleanroom, or controlled environment fit-outs
- Strong understanding of M&E, HVAC, and lab service integration (gas, extraction, fume cupboards, etc.)
- Excellent client communication and project coordination skills
- Proven ability to manage subcontractors and design teams effectively
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations, H&S management, and QA processes
- Competent in MS Project or equivalent project planning software
- Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or Project Management
- CSCS and SMSTS certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
