The Role
As a
Senior Consultant - Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering change within time, cost, and quality constraints. You will lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and project controls integration across cost, planning, and risk. This role requires a proactive, organised individual with the ability to drive projects forward in high-pressure environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget
- Project Controls Integration: Apply knowledge of cost, risk, and planning to ensure robust project controls are in place to support decision making
- Stakeholder & Communication Management: Build strong relationships, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts to maintain project momentum
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Identify risks and challenges, develop mitigation strategies, and make informed decisions to keep projects on track
- Commercial Awareness & Budget Management: Ensure financial oversight, cost control, and alignment with business objectives

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should bring a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. We're looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:
- Project & Programme Lifecycle Knowledge: Strong theoretical and practical understanding of all stages of project and programme lifecycles
- Project Controls Awareness: A working knowledge of cost, risk, and planning, and how they integrate to support and influence project delivery
- Delivery Methodologies: Knowledge and experience of both Waterfall and Agile project delivery approaches
- Education & Experience: Degree educated preferred but not required, with 5+ years' project management experience
- Professional Qualifications: Must hold recognised P3M qualifications, such as Axelos (PRINCE2 and PRINCE2 Agile), APM PMQ, or PMI PMP
