Job role: IT / OT Manager

Location: Coventry – flexible home working

Salary: £70,000 + benefits

We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Manager to oversee the availability, reliability, and security of core non-production environments. In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing IT/OT devices and systems, ensuring smooth operations, and supporting both project and business-as-usual (BAU) requirements.

As a key leader, you will drive efficiency and compliance within agreed budgets, delivering positive ROI and fostering a proactive, resilient team culture. This is a critical role where you will have the opportunity to shape environment management strategy and influence cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

What You’ll Do as IT/ OT Manager:

Manage the availability, maintenance, and security of core non-production environments.
Oversee incidents, changes, problems, and requests to ensure system stability and efficient delivery.
Develop and maintain IT/OT policies, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Manage SCADA and OT environments, including configuration, access control, and maintenance.
Lead the delivery of upgrades and new environments to meet project demands.
Track software versions and ensure alignment with technical standards.
Manage vendor performance and outsourced service providers to meet service levels.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.

What we are looking for:

Strong background in IT environment management and technical delivery.
Experience leading teams with diverse technical skills.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, SCADA systems, and operational technologies.
Experience with AWS or cloud-based solutions.
Knowledge of engineering processes in operational environments.
Familiarity with Prince2, Agile, Jira, and Scrum methodologies.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
