PMO Planning Manager (JIRA) - Global Insurer - Transformation Program

100k GBP base

Hybrid: 1-2 days per week

Location: Surrey

3-4 direct reports

We have a multi-million £ program for a global insurer that needs a Head of / Planning Manager with extensive JIRA/Confluence experience, who can lead a team of Planners from a consultancy, as well as the insurance company's own Planners.

You'll need experience in the financial services for this one, banking or insurance, either one is fine.

Do you have a good understanding of change, delivery structures; and can you articulate challenges well that would be faced from a governance and planning perspective?
Do you have good on the ground issue management/problem solving skills?
Do you have solid experience with the ‘nuts and bolts’ of planning disciplines e,g, use of tools, improving planning ways of working etc.?
Do you have extensive experience in Jira management, plan reporting, complex programmes?

Due to the pace of the programme, we need someone who can provide short, concise answers directly responding to the challenges presented.
