Role Purpose:

We’re looking for an experienced SaaS Project Manager or Agile Delivery Lead who’s ready to make a real impact and passionate about driving alignment, empowering teams, and delivering results at scale.

In this role, you’ll lead with purpose, bringing clarity and energy to Agile delivery. You’ll focus on enabling high-performing Agile teams to collaborate effectively, maximise flow, and deliver meaningful outcomes to our end users.

By fostering a culture of continuous improvement and removing impediments, you’ll help teams thrive and aligned to our delivery goals.

You’ll play a key role in building stakeholder confidence by clearly communicating team progress and velocity, while deepening your understanding of the Dynamic Planner product suite and the Financial Advice domain. Your insight and influence will help shape how we work, evolve our agile practices, and contribute meaningfully to a high-performing delivery team.

Key responsibilities

Champion Agile Team Growth: Act as a mentor and coach across multiple Agile teams, guiding them on best practices, helping troubleshoot delivery challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and self-organisation.

Drive Alignment Through Agile Ceremonies: Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, and Refinements, enabling teams to stay aligned, focused, and connected to shared goals.

Clear the Path for Success: Proactively identify and remove impediments that block progress, enabling teams to maintain momentum and deliver value smoothly and consistently.

Elevate Technical Excellence: Collaborate with teams to enhance technical practices boosting velocity, and the ability to deliver business value with confidence.

Navigate Risks and Trade-offs: Identify and assess risks early, enabling informed decision-making and balancing trade-offs to protect delivery outcomes. Escalate key issues with clarity and context.

Promote Agility and Resilience: Encourage adaptive planning and rapid response to change, helping teams stay flexible, resilient, and focused in a fast-moving environment.

Focus on Outcomes, Not Just Output: Shift the mindset from tasks to impact, ensuring teams are delivering work that aligns with strategic goals and drives measurable business value.

Own Delivery Metrics: Take ownership of team velocity, sprint burndown, and delivery health, identifying blockers and driving resolution through collaboration and leadership.

Partner with Product Owners: Support backlog prioritisation and planning, helping Product Owners focus on business value and adapt ways of working to maximise efficiency.

Plan Iterations with Purpose: Track and support the delivery of user stories and releases, aligning with programme increments and ensuring teams are set up for success.

Support Team Wellbeing and Performance: Provide meaningful metrics, foster a positive team environment, and actively work to improve team wellbeing, engagement, and flow.

Keep abreast with agile best practices and new trends.

Competencies

(knowledge/skills/experience)

Experience in an Agile Delivery / Project Management role for at least two years for a software development team is a must.
Personal financial advice domain knowledge would be a bonus.
Experience in Lean Product Development would be a bonus.

Technical Skills

Understanding of Agile frameworks
Technical problem Solving and removing impediments
Technical Proficiency, specifically in software development practices
Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
Advance knowledge of Azure DevOps boards & backlogs

Pay: £48,605.41-£55,000.00 per year
